The research found out which ad sizes were the most popular, along with some interesting data:
- 3 different ad sizes (300×250, 320×50, and 728×90) make up for up to 70% of all global ad impressions.
- Other than 5 most common sizes, the market is splintered – with more than 15,000 different ad sizes.
- There are more ad impressions triggered on mobile than on desktop.
